What salary are you offering for this work? DoubleBlue (Talk) 20:18, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Make the list uniformed and matching to the others[edit]

It's simple. Make it nice and uniformed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Redfenril (talkcontribs) 20:33, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gains and losses chart[edit]

The gains and losses chart doesn't make any sense to me. Why does it show byelections? Where is the data in the middle for the Tories. Why not go election to election or dissolution to election (treating vacancies as though still held by party of last holder)? -Rrius (talk) 22:45, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why the by-elections are added. But you're correct - Fed election to Fed election, would be easier. GoodDay (talk) 23:01, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ordering of the provinces and territories[edit]

Why are the provinces and territories not listed alphabetically? fishhead64 (talk) 01:24, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is traditional to order them from East to West for election results; the same way they come in due to time zone differences. DoubleBlue (Talk) 03:58, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gains and losses again[edit]

The gains and losses chart doesn't make sense. It says, for instance, the Conservatives lost 6 and gained 23 for a net of +17, but 143 minus 17 equals 126, not 127. Does anyone object to my redoing the chart based on Results by riding for the Canadian federal election, 2008 with vacancies counted for the party that last held the seat? -Rrius (talk) 07:17, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
