There is a need for this as a separate article[edit]
It makes sense to have a short article on the short-lived self-declared independent Republic of Crimea, in order to prevent confusion among readers who may not understand the difference between the short lived independent republic and the federal subject of the same name. Please adhere to the community consensus found in the discussions held, and do not recreate articles deleted or merged by community consensus. We don't need more content forks.
