"Best film of 1984"[edit]

And so why are we reporting that the IMDb – which is explicitly listed in WP:UGC as an unreliable source – and some blogs consider it one of the best films of 1984? What reliable sources say this? Variety? The Hollywood Reporter? NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:20, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The line is question is:

"Repo Man" garnered widespread praise upon its release, and is widely considered to be one of the best films of 1984.

Greeking?[edit]

'Repo Man' has some of the most-hilarious / -obvious 'greeking' ever done in a film (cans reading 'beer' and 'food', e.g.) ...
