North Anatolian earthquake sequence[edit]

The article refers to the sequence of earthquakes along the North Anatolian Fault from 1939 to 1999. The supporting reference refers to them as "earthquake stress triggering", but I don't think that's the same as remote triggering as (in my understanding) the characteristics of a remotely triggered earthquake are that they are distant from the original fault source (more than 2 fault lengths away) and occur during passage of the seismic waves of the triggering event (as described in the other two sources). I intend to remove the North Anatolian example and beef up the description of such events. Mikenorton (talk) 20:34, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
