Is the first picture of curvilinear grid correct? The Lines are curved and not straigtht. Shouldn't they be straight in such a grid? Roadexpert (talk) 15:21, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The lines just look curved based on the fact that when combined, they make an overall curved line. But individually(the lines between vertices), they definitely are straight.CFDFEM (talk) 19:37, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is awful. Many examples here do not represent a Regular Grid and a Structured Grid should definitely not re-direct to this page. A Regular Grid is a special case of a Structured Grid. A Regular Grid is a Structured Grid where all elements are congruent. Structured Grid should not be described here. It would be much better if there were an article on Structured Grids that contained these examples and described the special Regular Grid case of a Structured Grid. Regular Grid should re-direct to Structured Grid. I would change this if I knew how. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.2.110.7 (talk) 22:42, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong assertion[edit]

There are 3 types of "regular grids", so, the other 2 must be showed in the article. See Euclidean_tilings_by_convex_regular_polygons#Regular_tilings. Krauss (talk) 12:18, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
