Fair use rationale for Image:Schmidlapp.jpg[edit]

Image:Schmidlapp.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Reginald Denny (actor)Reginald Denny – This person appears to be the primary meaning as he had a significant and lengthy acting career, the other article does not refer to the person himself, he is only famous for one incident. PatGallacher (talk) 01:27, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose the attack received significant coverage, and is brought up on anniversaries as well. -- 70.24.247.127 (talk) 07:58, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Relatively well-known actor as against someone known only for a single incident. The other article can be dealt with perfectly well with a hatnote. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:22, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - Stats of the actor and of one incident may not mean much to you, but the incident still educates prevailing violence that affects community. How impactful some random actor would be? The actor died in 1960s, and he starred in silent and then talkie films. The best to memorize is his role in Batman the live-action TV series. --George Ho (talk) 09:21, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as per George Ho above, stats show the attack page is far more prevalent. It also appears that at some point a DAB page was created to help people find the actor versus the attack page. I have mixed feelings on removing the DAB page, and simply redirecting to the attack page, but it seems awkward to do so. Tiggerjay (talk) 20:30, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

404 Not Found Error[edit]

The link to "Reginald Denny Industries" gives me the above error message: http://www.vectorsite.net/twuav_01.html#m1 69.71.183.141 (talk) 03:33, 8 December 2014 (UTC) Vicki[reply]

Birth name[edit]

I can find no support for "Reginald Dugmore". Conversely several sources give "Reginald Daymore". I have therefore changed it.

Further there is support for "Reginald Leigh Dugmore Denny" from 1968. Kevin Brownlow (1968). The Parade's Gone by ... University of California Press. p. 448. ISBN 9780520030688.

More work needed.
