It is interesting that this is the third time this season Marge separated from Homer (also Bonfire of the Manatees and Milhouse of Sand and Fog). --Busjack 18:13, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

and this is like the 50th "marriage problems" episode overall, the most overplayed (and annoying) theme in the series —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.115.96.252 (talk) 22:31, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

LBJ?[edit]

The article claims that Herbert Hoover is the most recent President not to have "appeared in animated form" on the Simpsons, but what about Lyndon Johnson? He's been mentioned several times (e.g. "I felt the same way when Lyndon Johnson died" and other refs from here) but I don't ever recall him appearing on the show. For lack of proof I'm amending the article. 67.168.62.119 04:50, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Originally I had it down as being LBJ, but he was in the video footage in The Clockwork Orange parody in Dog of Death, he's the guy holding the dog by the ears. For some reason its not mentioned in that list... -- Scorpion0422 05:07, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good catch! I stand corrected. There's a maintainer listed on the Presidential references if you want to provide the citation for the credit. :) 67.168.62.119 08:09, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Springfield's location...[edit]

Kent Brockman's report from the "Springfield Keys" casts some serious doubt on the location of the already-ambiguously placed city (which apparently has a desolate wasteland full of oilfields that's larger than Texas). Anyone want to mention that? SuperSonicTH 23:42, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
