Edit[edit]

I edited the recent addition for clarity, but I couldn't decipher: "Past climatic events, such as the last ice age, may have created pockets if unrelated by unique species.". --Wetman 20:50, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revision[edit]

After reviewing the article again, I decided a whole revamp was necessary to clearly explain the concept. As such, that sentence has been removed. Any other help you can offer would be nice, since this is my first contribution to wiki. Cody 01:26, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if my edits spurred your revision in any way, I did well! A huge improvement. Welcome to Wikipedia. Some on-line and print references would be good... --Wetman 09:55, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Singular[edit]

Shouldn't this page be at Refugium (the singular form of the word)? --Aranae 00:21, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article should be expanded with the content in the Examples of Refugia page Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 20:50, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Content is still being added. This page is specific to glacial refguia, and will be edited appropriately. It seems reasonable to have a page devoted to examples, rather than the broader theory, but we can decide that later. brian Nov 11, 2013
Any information on the Apollo 11 Cave in ǁKaras Region or any other coastal region of Namibia having been a glacial population refguium for human ancestors? Read it once, but lost it.—Pawyilee (talk) 16:42, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
