Congregational connection[edit]

The article says Redfield was affiliated with "the Congregational Church." However, there isn't really a "Congregational Church"; there are only Congregational churches. Can anyone clarify what this means? Was it one of the associations bringing together Congregational churches through informal alliances, like the Congregational Christian Churches? Closure date[edit]

I collected a little additional info at the South Dakota State Archives last week to add to this article, and since local history volumes there all indicate a 1932 closure date for the school I've reflected that in the article. I suspect that the archival material at Augustana might also contain material related to disposal of the school's assets, and isn't necessarily a reliable indicator of the exact date that classes ceased.
