Japanese Red seal trade in the early 17th century.[1]

Here is a map I made of Japanese foreign trade (Red seal ships) in the early 17th century (referenced from "Histoire du Japon", Michel Vie, ISBN 2130528937). Could someone kindly include the map in the article (first paragraph)? Thank you PHG (talk) 20:29, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yamada Yahei[edit]

In the article, a man called Yamada Yahei is mentioned to have travelled to Indochina and Siam in 1634 in the timeline. Is there any source for this? I've researched the name, but found nothing of use pointing to anything except this article. Is he perhaps the same man as Hamada Yahei, who had a conflict in Taiwan with Pieter Nuyts in 1628? I've found nothing in the sources about Hamada to imply his whereabouts in 1634, or that he should ahve visited Indochina or Siam. I don't speak Japanese, but the Japanese reading of his name doesn't turn up with useful results either. Can anyone please clarify where this man is mentioned, otherwise he should be removed.
