Removed cleanup and tone tags. It still can be improved, references are listed but don't specifically address which claims they back up. The article could also use more detail on the time table for when pregnant women should and should not take it. -Barkeep 22:02, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fragine[edit]

I have removed this statement about fragine: "Mumsnet states that it contains fragine, an alkaloid thought to help strengthen the uterine muscles, which could make contractions more efficient". I have done a thorough search of the scientific literature including chemical databases (Chemical Abstracts, ChemSpider, PubChem, Bielstein, etc.) and found no reference at all to any alkaloid or other chemical named "fragine". The Mumsnet website therefore appears to be mistaken. There is an alkaloid called "fagarine", so if anyone can find references to support some effect of that chemical compound on uterine muscles, maybe the statement could be corrected and added back in. -- Ed (Edgar181) 14:11, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
