Language[edit]

I was wondering whether the film can be counted as "Italian", if the original language appears to be English, in fact? --Assarbad (talk) 16:34, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't exactly understand this question beyond my assumptions. In any regard, The film is what it is. So if it is a film created in English and then translated into any number of foreign languages, well, those facts would be relevant. You can also tag the article in an appropriate category, for example see this category. Cheers.My76Strat 03:41, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, and thanks for your response. Yes, the film was clearly all English and not dubbed at all. However, the director is Italian, so is one of the producers and several in the cast. --Assarbad (talk) 00:41, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Synopsis[edit]

The synopsis is copied from the DVD cover. Is that okay by Wikipedia standards? --Assarbad (talk) 02:36, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is not appropriate to copy paste, or otherwise plagiarize a source. If a quotation is included it must be marked as a quote with attribution to the source. Otherwise information must be presented in a verifiable manner using prose of your own design. Close para-phrasing is also unacceptable so ensure that your prose are not substantially the same as the source, or presented in the same order, unless such order follows a time-line for example. By the way the copied information should be removed and or re-worked as soon as possible. If it is not soon accomplished, you can almost certainly expect it to be reverted soon. If you require more information freely contact me on my own talk page or use the {{helpme}} tag on your own page. Happy editing.My76Strat 03:28, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't add it, merely noted the identical wording in it and was trying to get some answer (which you and one other user provided now). Thanks.
Yes I misunderstood the context and now realize you never implied that you had added the content. It was never meant as an accusation, but in light of the correct understanding, you are correct for inquiring and have benefited the project by noticing this copyvio.My76Strat 03:58, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As I was told on my talk page that the synopsis would not be okay when copied verbatim from the DVD cover, I removed it (oldid=396062429). --Assarbad (talk) 03:33, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
