Endless streams of text[edit]

Started editing the page which is/was in bad need of punctuation. Most sentences go on for ever and ever. However, some parts are beyond me: "The song was written in the band's hotel during the aftermath of this and a fight that broke out at the venue when the band were forced to cancel the show because of the safety issues and both it and b-side Common As Muck were recorded in the break in the tour caused by the cancellation of the Italian shows." Can anybody please fix this? Thx. Rien Post 23:31, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The list of reasons to be cheerful[edit]

What about - "lighting up the chalice" - smoking a bong

Summer[edit]

The wiki-preferred lyrics provider mterolyrics, which I have just added in External links, gives "Some of Buddy Holly..." and not "Summer, Buddy Holly..." Which is correct? Martinevans123 (talk) 11:43, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Upon close listening it's almost certainly "Summer, Buddy Holly, The Working Folly, Good-Golly Miss Molly, and Boats..."

Part 3[edit]

Did Ian ever say why he added "Part 3" to the title? I assume it was just his way of being funny, as there isn't a part 1 or 2, but it would be good to add to the article if it can be cited. Robman94 (talk) 22:25, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
