Edits by FDNY18[edit]

FDNY18 you really need to list your references (citations) and more importantly insure your facts are correct. You have made a number of changes to this page that are simply inaccurate:

  • The department is "combination", not "career", as stated by Chief Mogel on the department's official web page
  • The level of EMS service/certification is "ALS", not "BLS", as indicated by PA Dept of Health seals on their ambulances
  • Kitsock provides the names of the volunteer fire companies as they originally appeared in this article, and specifically not with "Company xx" as indicated in your revision. To this end I have done some research on the Pennsylvania Department of State's website and found Kitsock's names to be correct for the corporations I checked; I will add citations in the near future.

In light of the above I reverted many of your changes back to their original content. I did change headers relating to each of the fire companies from level 3 to simply a bold title. I am not sure if this conforms to wiki style, however I agree with you that they should not have filled the summary box as they did.

This title should be left as it is.--DThomsen8 (talk) 02:00, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. While Reading, England, is actually covered by Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, it may still cause ambiguity, especially since there undoubtedly was once an independent Reading Fire Brigade. But the fact that there are at least fifteen other Readings in the United States, many or even most of them probably with their own fire departments, means we should leave as is. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:41, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
