Origins[edit]

A split from the Ted Ray (comedian) article, this section about "Ray's a Laugh" was added way back in 2006, so clearly predates the other 2017 online blog and wiki source (which are more than likely copied from Wikipedia). A BBC radio programme that ran for 12 years is more than likely to be notable, but needs a source for its chatty, opinionated style. Sionk (talk) 21:39, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working to improve the article - I thought that the section from the Ted Ray article would be a good starting point to work from. As you suggest, I feel that Ray's a Laugh is notable enough for its own article, rather than simply being a redirect to its main star. TrottieTrue (talk) 02:15, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I've identified the source for the "essay-like" content: the Radio Days site. Some of the text I copied over from the Ted Ray article appears to have been taken from that site. Hopefully this article will improve over time. TrottieTrue (talk) 15:30, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
