Lack of credibility[edit]

A lot of the claims at this article are simply repeating reports of Russian state media at face value without informing the reader that they're coming from a source known for embellishment or outright falsehood. The claims about robotic exoskeletons is particularly preposterous. I'm aware that concepts have been shown off at trade shows in Russia, but as it is written the article doesn't make it clear that this is not likely to be an actual part of the standard Russian infantry equipment set anytime soon. I recommend that all parts of this article with sources like TASS be rewritten in as:

″Russian state media outlet TASS reported that [... claim about the ratnik system]″

instead of just:

″[... claim about the ratnik system]″ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:4040:5F52:1600:7959:466A:1514:9557 (talk) 02:08, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, this article is full of unreliable sources and statements. Links to external sources often link to Russian state propaganda outlets. Example, link 4 to greydynamics.com, "where state-sponsored media claimed its fielding was met with great success..." or "RIA, a Russian state-sponsored media company, reported...". Vostok[edit]

Vostok produce a variant of its Komandirskie 280 range for the Ratnik system which has a 2416b automatic movement inside and in a range of dull finishes with a special camouflaged fabric cuff the watch and strap integrate into giving the watch an integral part in the camouflage without giving away shape or shine.
