World's largest lake within city?[edit]

Until 2001, Lake Ramsey was the world's largest lake located entirely within the boundaries of a single city.

This sounds dubious to me, since it is only 6.5 km long and no more than 1 wide. This statement needs a verifiable and reputable reference. -- P199 (talk) 18:43, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Origin Of The Name[edit]

After whom was the lake named?69.60.237.4 (talk) 19:51, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lake Ramsey is wrong, it is Ramsey Lake[edit]

According to this: Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Geographic Names, the correct name is not "Lake Ramsey", but "Ramsey Lake". This (Wikipedia) is the only reference I have found that refers to this body of water as "Lake Ramsey". I recommend this page be renamed to the correct name of "Ramsey Lake".
