Point-of-View[edit]

This article was written by someone with a slanted political agenda, including the use of accusatory words like "expropriated" - and expressing ingratitude for the defense of Puerto Rico by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Coast Guard.74.163.41.119 (talk) 04:28, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In use dates 1936-1971[edit]

I was living there until December 1971, (as a child, so my perspective is limited by that). However, I think the end date should be more like 1973. I know the base did not close with our departure, and people (military families) that left in 1973 were in a transition period. It could be that certain functions ceased in 1971, but it was still operated by the Air Force in 1973 under the command of an Air Force officer. I'm sure the Ramey AFB Historical Association would have information to corroborate this opinion. GuyWeston1829 (talk) 15:33, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
