Info in the article is wrong[edit]

According to the info provided at Rafael company website, info in this article is incorrect because the author of this article has confused the data of Samson Family remotely operated weapon station (ROWS) with OWS ROWS, both manufactured by Rafael, and both share the common base, the naval ROWS Typhoon, also developed by Rafael a little earlier.

OWS series ROWS is the larger one, weighing between 1 to 1.1 ton depending on the configuration, and it is similar to the standard Typhoon naval ROWS, while Samson family ROWS varies in weight with much greater range, depending on the configuration.

Samson Jr. ROWS is for 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm machine guns, weighing 60 - 75 kg, while Mini Samson ROWS can accommodate weaponry up to 12.7 mm calibre, as well as 40 mm grenade launcher, and Mini Samson ROWS weighs 140 - 160 kg, similar to that of Mini Typhoon naval ROWS. The last member of the Samson family, the standard Samson, can accommodate cannons ranging from 20 mm - 40 mm, weighing 1.5 ton, similar to that of standard Typhoon naval ROWS and OWS.
