Montevideo AM requested moves[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: Moved. As the proposal cites a related, successful RM discussion, and it puts forward some reasoning, due to repeated relists and a lack of input, this is more akin to a technical request. – Uruguay is a mixed use call sign country (they exist, but are not primary in use) and these articles break our naming conventions. (Apparently a lot of people say station names like this down there.) Suggesting move to station names. Note: separate from but related to the RM at Talk:CX 6 SODRE on public radio stations in Uruguay, where the other problem is a name change. In the case of CX 24, 28 and 44, there have been changes in name (and in 28's case, in ownership and format).
