RMS Empress of France[edit]

This page requires editing - I am sure the photo is of a later Empress of France, not the ship discussed on the page 92.27.76.143 (talk) 19:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The original source for this image is E. Chambré Hardman Archive at PortCities Liverpool web site. --Tenmei (talk) 19:54, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My father, Frederick Charles Howell was an engineer on the ship in the photo and he concurs that the photo is of the second Empress of France aka Duchess of Bedford, not the original Empress of France upon which this which this article is based. -Stewart Howell stew@snaps.info 2013-10-17 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.169.42.154 (talk) 11:11, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There may be voyages missing. If there were 99 Atlantic crossings, then there must be. Maybe a note that the voyage list is incomplete would be helpful. For example, according to ancestry.com (Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865 - 1935), my grandfather and grandmother voyaged on the Empress of France from Liverpool to Saint John, New Bruswick around April 1921. The date is likely correct as it fits with their marriage in England in early 1921 and their census entry in Canada later in 1921. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdeacon (talkcontribs) 08:03, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
