Please note that by convention in Sri Lanka spelling of de Saram the de appears to be a simple letter. please advise on how it should appear when it is the first letter in a sentence. Which has precedence? the rule of grammar about the first word in the sentence or the curious phenomenon of a name or proper noun beginning with a simple letter? please engage in a discussion before making arbitrary edits on the sentences beginning with de. Are any knowledgable Sri Lankan wikipedians able to answer this Fattutor (talk) 09:05, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
