Do the R-7 designs utilize vernier thrusters?[edit]

Do the R-7 designs utilize vernier thrusters? If so, this article would be improved with a description of that usage, and a citation to a reliable source. Cheers. N2e (talk) 13:55, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Verniers are considered a part of the RD-107/108 engines. The 107 has two and the 108 (the one mounted on the sustainer stage) has four. I'm afraid that the citation is "it's obvious" in Russian: http://www.lpre.de/energomash/RD-107/index.htm . Plus "vernier" is never directly mentioned, and the thrusters on 108 definitely swivel quite a bit. - 37.190.62.64 (talk) 21:43, 28 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why no "Total" Line?[edit]

Just tossed the number together out of curiosity. 1749. 1747 of them with the Korolev crosse.

Should we have the line in the table?
