  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Do you mean positions instead of place? the local princes, who were gradually relegated to secondary place. Some typos here, I think: archers who pierce the upils of he eyes. This is awkward: On his way however he turned around and marched against Samarkand.
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
Need publisher locations for Blankinship, Gibb, Shaban and Wellhausen. OCLC numbers needed for Gibb and Wellhausen.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
  • Why there is no mention about his barbaric actions in Khwarezm? (tell me if you can't find sources about it or you don't have accsess to) --Z 02:13, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've fixed the prose and source issues. On Qutaybas actions in Khwarezm, the (secondary) sources available to me speak only in generic terms. If you have something more specific, I'd be happy to include it (and of course any other event that you think might be worthwile). Constantine 16:07, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
