Did Quercy ever claim independence? If not, should this article be in the category "Former countries"? Similarly with other former provinces of France (e.g. Nébouzan etc) Anthony Appleyard 06:17, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Agreement of possessive pronoun[edit]

eric You changed my edit of Quercy. It appears the words I changed are what happens when Google translate is used and it cannot tell the difference between it and him in French and uses other words that are there in French and no longer or never used in English. I think it would be better left as I edited it. I notice you never put in an edit summary of why exactly you reverted what I had done. Avi8tor (talk) 16:17, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Avi8tor: Since "each" is singular, it should be followed by the singular form of the possessive pronoun. Side note: To ping another user, you'll want to use curly brackets as opposed to square ones. Eric talk 18:20, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks eric I thought I had used curly brackets but obviously not. I still think there are too many "and" and "but"s in some of the language, maybe I speak a different English? Avi8tor (talk) 13:40, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
