I.R.A. Attack at Strensall February 1994[edit]

I was based at Trensall Barracks and on Guard Duty, when the Base was attacked by P.I.R.A. in February 1994. They said they were going to blow up part of one of the buildings and take one of the lads out at the gate.

There were shots fired and a Lynx searched the area. It's not on a "D" Notice and there's no mention of it anywhere? 90.241.135.150 (talk) 15:56, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
