Improvements to the beginning of the article[edit]

The main improvement for this article would have been to have placed the Quebec Conference in greater context. You allude to the Charlottetown conference but don't explicitly name it or how it related to the Quebec Conference, as it preceeded these negotiations in Quebec Overall a good basic introduction to the Quebec conference, just greater context on its relation to other conferences at the time emphasise it's historical significance [User:DBayley|DBayley]] (talk) 20:52, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

PEI[edit]

It appears that Prince Edward Island wasw a very central player in confederation from hosting the first talks on confederation to being a player in second Quebec conference. Yet, by the end of this article, we only get a sentence that simply says they didn't join the confederation until later, not explaining why that was, at all. They are not mentioned at all in the article on the 1866 London conference. Can it be explained either on the article detailing confederation or any of these conference articles why that was, why they were central to the founding of the confederation, but then totally disappear from the original law promulgating it? --Criticalthinker (talk) 22:54, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
