The purpose of QEBH.[edit]

It is interesting to note that this description of QEBH "The underlying idea of the society is to bring together a few men of recognized standing among their fellows, ... and sufficiently broad and advanced in spirit to take the viewpoint of Alma Mater in their university interests; and through these few men and concerted example to instill in the undergraduates a real affection for their University, a sentimental loyalty, enduring in adversity and defeat as in prosperity and victory" sounds identical to a chapter of Theta Nu Epsilon. It makes one suspect that QEBH is simply a continuation of Theta Nu Epsilon. That the introduction of the Sophomore society caused the creation of the senior society two years later exactly follows a similar pattern established at other campuses, such as Berkeley, Rutgers, Cornell, and others. It would be a shame if some people (for whatever reason) were unable to see the obvious connection.129.133.124.194 (talk) 00:26, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
