April Fool's Day[edit]

Why is April Fool's Day even mentioned under special holidays? And the name in Malay is equally questionable. --203.20.208.10 (talk) 02:13, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just thought that some of the name of days in Malay sound ridiculous and decided to change them. Oh and I was the last person asking that question above. --Fauzi (talk) 08:59, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for correcting the Malay text! — Cheers, JackLee talk 15:42, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

International Mother's Day[edit]

I have never noted that International Mother's Day getting any mention in Singapore. We are more used to commemorating the one in May. Propose to delete Melvsim (talk) 17:29, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article only mentions the May holiday. What are you referring to? — Cheers, JackLee talk 22:03, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Simplified / Traditional Chinese[edit]

Since Simplified Chinese is used in Singapore, seems that the Chinese names should be in Simplified Chinese (either solely or in addition to Traditional). I'll edit if there are no objections - unless someone beat me to it. lenny (talk) 00:41, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
