Energy?[edit]
From the article: "...described the way in which pseudoholomorphic curves can degenerate when only finite energy is assumed." Could someone please explain what "finite energy" means in this context in mathematical terms? Thanks, - 129.100.75.90 19:24, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- Energy refers to the L2 norm of the derivative of the map. There's a little more on it at Stable map; that is the article about compactness of moduli spaces of pseudoholomorphic curves.
- Also, I don't the the link for A-twist is desirable, since there is no page on it, since it should be on the type IIA page. Joshua Davis 20:38, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
