Tholos as Prytaneion[edit]

Both Stephen G. Miller and John McK. Camp agree that the Tholos was not the Prytaneion of Athens, Pausanias places it near the sanctuary of aglauros and its location has been uncertain. Why is it listed as being one and the same here, when as Miller puts it "The Athenian tholos and the prytaneion were two separate and distinct buildings which shared the functions fulfilled by the prytaneion alone at other cities." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.236.222.183 (talk) 22:57, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
