Preliminary Thoughts on Editing[edit]

This article looks like it could benefit from reorganization, particularly with respect to sections. "Atomically thin material" is far too small to warrant its own section, and the information contained in that section and "Fuel cell" might be better organized into a more traditional set of sections for a materials page (History, Materials, Electrochemistry, Applications, etc;). I intend to try rearranging the article to that effect.

Some significant information (i.e., "PEM fuel cells use a solid polymer membrane (a thin plastic film) as the electrolyte. This polymer is permeable to protons when it is saturated with water, but it does not conduct electrons.") lacks any citation. I will make an effort to avoid removing any content in my editing by searching for citations.

I will also make some minor changes to phraseology where I feel it is useful for clarity. I am open to any feedback. TheChemistTree (talk) 01:53, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
