Site of the new post[edit]

The article says "the post was refounded a little way up the river." Similarly, this site says "The company reoccupied the area in 1783, and built a new post about four kilometres up river."

Is the site of the "new post" the same as the present-day town of Churchill? (Which is up the river, but also on the opposite side of the river.) If so, it would improve the article to explicitly say so. 75.163.201.149 (talk) 04:26, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
