While the first paragraph might often refer to a single, articles under the scope of WP:SONGS are about songs, rather than single releases. Hence re-releases and even cover-versions of a song by other bands go into the same article (see "Sympathy for the Devil" and "All Along the Watchtower" for examples). - Cyrus XIII 08:46, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
