Cause/Reason[edit]

The "Cause/Reason" (for departure) section seems a bit off to me - although this is evidently the reason for the character's departure from the show, most other character pages I have seen list the character's reason for departing, not the actor's. Shouldn't the character page reflect the character's reason for leaving the show, and the actor's page represent the actor's reason for departing? My apologies if this is incorrect. Post Nominal Letters[edit]

The post-nominal letters of FACC should be removed from this character. The claim that the character has attained membership into the organization is uncited, and the show has not shown the character to have such letters on-screen. Ace(talk) 00:11, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Preston Burke is a doctor. Every doctor that has completed four years of pre-medical studies and four years of post-graduate medical school has the title of Doctor of Medicine which places an "M.D." after the individual names. As he is an attending physician that has completed his studies and his residency, it is a certainty that his name is followed by the "M.D.", his full name being "Preston Xavier Burke, M.D.". I suggest we add the "M.D." after his name. Jonathan H. Koszeghi (talk) 21:01, 10 April 2012 (UTC) (This user is a sockpuppet of Lorin Schonfeld. TRLIJC19 (talk) 20:35, 13 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Thanks for the suggestion, but in the infobox, there is a 'title' parameter which includes MD. Wikipedia's MOS does not have you list their title after their name. TRLIJC19 (talk) 20:24, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I had not been previously familiarized with this aspect and I express my honest apologies. Jonathan H. Koszeghi (talk) 21:01, 10 April 2012 (UTC) (This user is a sockpuppet of Lorin Schonfeld. TRLIJC19 (talk) 20:35, 13 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]
