Don't find the exact defination given matching with presales responsibilities. People tend to confuse lead generation team to presales. Presales person rather comes into picture once an opportunity is already identified by sales team. I understand and appericiate your efforts but let me mention that presaleswiki is the only wiki related to presales on the web rather it is the only website solely ment for presales professionals. I hope you will understand the situation. Our idea is not to develop traffic but to develop a place for presales folks, where they can contribute, we truly follow the spirit of wikipedia. Let me mention that there are a lot of other guidelines that permit linking to places with good information regarding the subject. PresalesWiki definately has lot of information regarding the subject and will benefit the audience. It is not any other wiki.

Hope you can give it a thought without prejudice and a refusing intent.

As per the spirit of wikipedia the site deserves to be linked. I think wikipedia has become a group of hyppocrytes, there are other links also on the pagve that do not deserve to be there as per the policy... Why is APMP there.. it is not a standard body. Why are other links there???

They are there because an Admin with BUSINESS interests has put them.

I do not care if you do not link it .. and the end it is the loss of wikipedia presales page... the users would have certainly got much more information from PresalesWiki.

You think that wikipedia is the word. Be happy in your own world with your own rules.

I just wanted to improve the page.

I believe the "Lead Generation" link is not properly integrated into the narrative of this article. Is Lead Generation part of presales? It is not include on the list presented earlier under "Areas of a specialty of Presales include:" and it isn't commonly included in the normal presales activities, in the USA at least.
