  1. Remove "Suggested Listening" section (no links to YouTube videos please)
  2. Please get the basic facts about the composition right (before adding interpretation), e.g what is the time signature of the movements? etc...
  3. Probably one of the intended references is this one – I added some tags that may help you to format the reference a bit better.

    This was a monumental achievement because it helped push music out of Meantone temperament and into Well temperament. Well temperament allowed for the instrument to sound good in every key, therefore allowing composers to compose in every key. Bach's work was the first that employed all 24 major and minor keys (AEF Dickinson). He may have been inspired by J.C.F. Fischer's Ariadne Musica, a collection that contained all but 5 keys. (which I removed earlier today) – a rehash of the history contained in The Well-Tempered Clavier article is not needed for the article on one particular Prelude and Fugue of the collection. But the essentials of the history of this composition, e.g. when was this particular Prelude and Fugue composed? What's this about BWV 861a (see 01017)? ... are questions that may deserve an answer in this article. For that reason I suggested a section, "History", to be filled with a short overview of the history of this particular Prelude and Fugue.
