Removed from article[edit]

I have removed the following content from the article and placed it here. I cannot find any sources to verify these claims. The Encyclopedia of Canada's Peoples source was only listed in the previous "Sources" section, but I cannot access the content. North America¹⁰⁰⁰ 01:49, 28 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Prawn soup is often served in the outlying regions of the Northwest Territories in Canada. The prawns are traditionally caught by fishermen to feed to their families and friends as a form of winter nourishment, as the prawn soup can be kept well in the area's climate.
