The Phrase "single largest removal of Indians" does not seem to agree with the wikipedia article about the Cherokee "Trail of Tears" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.7.233.199 (talk) 04:38, 5 December 2021 (UTC)

Repetition: Removal and the March

Why is the march repeated twice? Once under Removal, with considerable detail, and then again under "The March", with even more detail. These sections need to be combined.Parkwells (talk) 21:12, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

I agree there was some duplicate content between the two sections - and it wasn't clear how the two sections are different, based on their headings. Rosalina523 (talk) 22:26, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
I moved "The march" heading to cover the content related to a summary of the route. I also added a new section header called "Route details", for lack of something more imaginative. This section includes some route highlights and related historical markers - hopefully it will better explain the content that was already added. Rosalina523 (talk) 22:26, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Trail markers

Adding details on all the markers could make this article really long - there are more than 70 markers on the trail. It may need a related list of the historical markers and their GPS locations to accurately pinpoint where they all are. Rosalina523 (talk) 22:26, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
