Suggested Change[edit]

This is a nice web page! One thing I would change though is that there is a link to an instructions website in the "Combustion" section. This I think should be moved I like to party

What should I do?

Don't panic; a discussion will now take place over on Commons about whether to remove the file. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion, although please review Commons guidelines before doing so.

If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.

Move to Potato cannon? No.[edit]

I noticed that http://stats.grok.se/en/latest/Potato_cannon is about three times more popular than http://stats.grok.se/en/latest/Spud_gun so I believe this move would be uncontroversial per WP:UCN. But then again, I just checked Google, and there were about 1/4 more hits on spud gun. What do other people think? Npmay (talk) 10:03, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Leave as spud gun per WP:COMMONNAME. The comparison in books makes it clear.

British spud guns[edit]

As a kid in the 80s, we used to have very simple spud guns that fired pieces of potato using the force of rubber bands or simple spring triggers. These don't seem to be covered in the article at all and are specifically ruled out by the definition given in the lead. --Dweller (talk) 14:56, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested rename to Potato cannon[edit]
