Notes on possible expansion[edit]

I translated this article a good while ago from the Portuguese one. It is quite short, but if any one with acess to Namibian (or German colonial) sources could research more in-depth facts about the island, it would be interesting to know more about its former importance as a Guano collecting place, since that was very relevant during wartimes.
