Fair use rationale for Image:McLachlan-possession.jpg[edit]

Image:McLachlan-possession.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

controversial video?[edit]

I'm skeptical of the claim that the video was too controversial to air. That could use a cite. Seems to me there were plenty of racier more offensive videos airing in the U.S. during this time. 1993 debuted Beavis and Butthead on MTV with Dr. Dre's "Nothing But a 'G' Thang" as one of MTV's top video hits. I'm guessing the Possession video was too milquetoast for the MTV crowd. Jordan 06:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanotto (talkcontribs)

origin of song[edit]

The song is the result of letters from an obsessed fan / stalker ... Yet this is given only the briefest mention in that article, in the section about the lawsuit. This really deserves more elaboration ... what aspects of the lyrics came from which letters? How did Sarah decide to do this? How did she feel about doing it? Was she surprised that the stalker sued her? There's quite a story to tell here, so I'm surprised it isnt being told. F for no other reason than the uniqueness of such a popular song coming from such a source ... That doesn't happen every day.99.185.121.87 (talk) 05:46, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't that the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver? Can anybody verify? 2001:569:5312:4800:79B8:5D95:A4E3:7542 (talk) 22:00, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
