Semi-protected edit request on 18 April 2024[edit]

Change 'in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent' to 'in the Punjab region of modern day Pakistan'.

The request is simply due to the fact that Porus' entire kingdom was in the doab between the Jehlum and Chenab rivers which completely lie in modern day Pakistan. If one were to even look at Alexander's conquest of the subcontinent, ( one can check the Wiki page on this at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_campaign_of_Alexander_the_Great ) his entire route was through modern day Pakistan only. It seems quite disingenuous if the Wikipedia page for Porus does not contain a single mention of which modern day country his empire spanned (especially when this is the norm across Wikipedia). 82.33.137.137 (talk) 08:36, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
