Which one?[edit]

I'm very confused by these four pages...

  • Alice in Wonderland (disambiguation)
  • Films and television programmes based on Alice in Wonderland
  • Works based on Alice in Wonderland
  • Portrayals of Alice in Wonderland

There seems to be much overlap, but all are very out of date and inconsistent. Can someone take these in hand? Not sure which one to add to.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Portrayals of Alice in Wonderland. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. The character in Megami Tensei[edit]

There seems to be some (very understandable) confusion regarding the influences of Alice in Megami Tensei, especially regarding the European folklore.

Note: I was one of the Megaten wiki users who made the observation that is described in revision 1043228063 by Muur. However, it's important to note that the misinformation only regarded the origin of the myth, namely saying that it is specifically Scandinavian, when there is nothing to support this. You can see the discussion here. The myth itself wasn't made up; it is mentioned in the games, both diagetically and incidentally. However, in my edit, I'm leaving the "citation needed" mark, as any sources on the character I could find comes from either fan made wikis, or social media; sources Wikipedia considers to be unreliable. I don't think I can cite a video game directly, right?

In my edit, I'm also heavily rewriting the passage, as it incorrectly implies that Alice has been in the series since it started in 1987. It also implies that there's a debate whether she's based on Carroll's character, or the myth; it's very clear that she's simultaneously based on both. Again, this is mentioned in game, but it's also apparent from observing the character's design and behavior. I understand that the passage in the Megaten wiki is written similarly and implies the same; I plan to make an edit there as well. Sorry for the misunderstandings!
