Why was intro reverted?[edit]

Why was this edit reverted, returning the opening sentence from "Pork and beans is a culinary dish that uses pig meat (pork or bacon) and one or more of a number of types of bean as its main ingredients" to the tautologous and unwieldy "Pork and beans is a culinary dish that uses pork and beans as its main ingredients."?
