Young Hub[edit]

Is the "Young Hub" Jim Jones is talking about in the cited interview an alias of Juelz Santana? That seems like it must be what he means, but I can't find any info clarifying this online. HappyWith (talk) 19:07, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Barack campaign[edit]

I’ve been having trouble finding the official name of this remix. The most plausible title I've found in some uploads is "Pop Champagne (Remix for Barack Obama)" but I don't really have a reliable independent source for this. If anyone else knows how to find this, would appreciate the help. HappyWith (talk) 23:04, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rewriting lead[edit]

I feel like the lead needs to be rewritten to make it more clear the popular version of the song is a remix. We could maybe model it off of the article for I Took A Pill In Ibiza which has a similar history. The weird situation with it being a Ron Browz song that got changed to have Jim Jones on the lead spot should also be mentioned in some way. If other people have thoughts, I’d love to hear them. Update: I've made the edits. HappyWith (talk) 18:50, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Original release date[edit]

I've entered in my rough approximation of the release date into the article as "June 2008", but this isn't a specific enough date or sourced in a completely airtight way. The only sources I've found are a Fader article from June 25 that has a (dead) link to an apparent version of the song, the original YouTube upload by Ron Browz that was uploaded June 29, and an uncredited claim on Genius Lyrics which says it was released on June 29. There must be some source that says the exact date, but I think a lot of the original sources are now down due to link rot, which is making it hard for me to find this. Does anyone have any info, or advice on how to find this? I want to try to verify all relevant info in the article but this is an annoying stumbling block.
