Overspeed[edit]

Since when did Hydra-Matic or Turbo Hydra-Matic have four speeds? Until the TH-200, which was, what, 1980? Grumpy Jenkins 16:40, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turbo-Hydramatic was three-speed only, but the Hydramatic had four, according to Hydramatic#Design. --Sable232 17:11, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I never heard that one before... On another note, anybody know what year the 421SD first appeared in the Catalina? Grumpy Jenkins 21:43, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I had heard something about an early GM 4-speed but I didn't know until I looked at the article. I know the 421SD was available in 1962, but it may or may not have appeared earlier. --Sable232 23:36, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Catalina as a coffin[edit]

The sentence on "coffin" does not belong in the very first paragraph of this Wikipedia entry. It should be moved somwhere near the end, in a separate "odds-and-sods" section. As a reference, Saluda Standard Sentinel might be cited: [1] 93.139.124.131 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:27, 11 September 2009 (UTC).[reply]
