Pollards Hill Secondary Modern School query[edit]

Under Geography, an IP has challenged the statement that "Tamworth Manor High School was originally Pollards Hill Secondary Modern School built in the 1950s" with the comment: "This date is incorrect. The school existed before the Second World War. I attended this school from 1941 to 1947." I have moved the comment from the article, where it doesn't belong, here. I have no knowledge on the facts of the matter, and this may just be a typo of "1950s" for "1930s". However, I also wonder whether there's some confusion between the date of the school being established and the date of its buildings. The school certainly can't have been a Secondary Modern before the war, as this class of school was only introduced in 1944. Eric Pode lives (talk) 20:10, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
