Ideology and political positions[edit]

The party considers themselves to follow center-left politics and has left-wing populism as an ideology, giving an emphasis to national security by the Police against Venezuelan migrants and economic help to small- and medium-sized businesses. Why it is labelled as a right-wing party by foreign newspapers is beyond me.

Here an extract to the party's website describing themselves:

Somos una fuerza política de centro izquierda que propone el modelo del capitalismo popular para impulsar el crecimiento económico y social del país; generando riqueza con el fortalecimiento de las pequeñas empresas, generando más trabajo y brindando una educación de calidad.

Translated as follows:

We are a center-left political force that propose the popular capitalism model to boost the social and economic growth in the country, generating wealth with the strengthening of small businesses, generating more jobs and bringing a quality education
