Packers agenda[edit]

I believe this paragraph should be modified or removed:

Using the Playoff Bowl (and loss) as motivation in 1965, the Packers won the first of three consecutive NFL championships from (1965-67. As of 2007, the Packers are the only NFL team ever to achieve this "three-peat" in the post-season era (which began in 1933). During this successful run, the Packers also won the first two Super Bowls in convincing fashion. In an ironic twist, Lombardi's final game (and victory) as head coach of the Packers was Super Bowl II, played in "hinky-dink" Miami's Orange Bowl in January 1968.

It is interesting and true, but this POV seems to take the spotlight off of the article's topic (The Playoff Bowl) and instead directs the reader's attention to the non-Playoff Bowl accomplishments of the Packers, which are well-documented elsewhere.--Son of Somebody 18:45, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Pbbelllogo.jpg[edit]

Image:Pbbelllogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Recent article regarding the Playoff Bowl[edit]

I reaad an article on Mental Floss written by Alex Watt titled "The NFL Used to Play a Thrid Place Game, a "Losers' Bowl for Losers." The article actually cites the data used on the Playoff Bowl page, so I thought it was worth adding it as a citation. Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 20:45, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

strengths - well detailed, provides scores, cites sources, right to the point weaknesses - concern that people may perceive Lombardi's views as POV
